Frankincense Oil Dark

Frankincense Oil STD is a standard dark-colour perfumery grade derived from the aromatic gum resin of Boswellia serrata, commonly known as Indian Frankincense or Olibanum.

This grade has a warm, woody, balsamic and resinous aroma with mild spicy and incense-like notes. It is supplied as an aromatic raw material for perfumery, incense and fragrance manufacturing where a darker colour is acceptable.

Important Grade Information

This product is the Standard (STD) Dark Colour Perfumery Grade. It is different from our pale-yellow Pure Frankincense Oil.

Buyers requiring a pure steam-distilled grade for specialised formulations should evaluate the Pure Frankincense Oil instead. The appropriate grade should be selected according to the intended application, colour requirements and batch documentation.
