Tagetes Oil is steam distilled from the aerial parts of Tagetes minuta, including its flowers, leaves and stems. It has a powerful green, herbaceous and fruity aroma with fresh citrus-like and mildly earthy undertones.

Also known as Mexican Marigold, Wild Marigold or Khakibush, Tagetes minuta is native to South America and is now cultivated in several regions, including India. Our India-origin material is supplied for professional fragrance, cosmetic and aromatic formulations.

Aroma Profile

Tagetes Oil opens with an intense green and herbaceous note followed by fruity, citrus-like and slightly floral facets. Its drydown is warm, earthy and distinctive.
