Narcissus Absolute – Dark Green-Brown Floral Material

Narcissus Absolute is a dark green-brown oily liquid with a rich floral and distinctly green aroma. It is a concentrated perfumery material intended for formulators who want something deeper and less conventional than a simple sweet floral note.

On a perfume blotter, the green character is noticeable first. The floral note develops more gradually and becomes fuller as the material settles. Because the aroma is concentrated, it should be evaluated at different dilution levels before deciding how much to use in a finished fragrance.

Narcissus materials are not commonly available in the same quantities as Rose, Jasmine or other widely used florals. Their distinctive character is mainly used in fine fragrance and specialist perfume compositions rather than ordinary mass-market floral blends.
