Cold-Pressed Grapeseed Oil – Lightweight Carrier Oil
Our Grapeseed Oil is cold pressed from selected grape seeds without blending it with another carrier oil. It is supplied as a 100% pure and natural botanical oil for cosmetic, massage and personal-care formulations.
What makes Grapeseed Oil especially useful to formulators is its light texture. It spreads easily, absorbs without leaving the same heavy feel as many richer carrier oils and allows the aroma of added essential oils to remain noticeable. For this reason, it is often chosen as a base for massage oils, facial oils and essential-oil dilution blends.
Cold-pressed Grapeseed Oil should not automatically be described as completely odourless. A natural batch may carry a very mild seed-like or neutral aroma, and small variations between batches are normal.
The oil contains a naturally occurring mixture of fatty acids, commonly with a high proportion of linoleic acid. Its exact fatty-acid profile depends on the grape variety, seed quality and production batch, so buyers requiring specific values should refer to the current Certificate of Analysis.
